One study looked at the effects of Cialis (Tadalafil) in people who underwent radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer. In this study, people taking Cialis 20 mg demonstrated a significant improvement in erectile function. During this study, 54 percent of men had a satisfactory erection that allowed vaginal penetration, and 41 percent had an erection that lasted long enough for successful intercourse.

Effects of Tadalafil: After Radical Prostatectomy
Monday, June 29th, 2009Cialis (Tadalafil) Effects in Men With Diabetes
Thursday, June 25th, 2009The effects of Cialis have been studied in men who have diabetes in addition to erectile dysfunction. These Cialis research studies also looked at the ability to achieve erections and the ability to maintain an erection after penetration. People took either Cialis 10 mg or Cialis 20 mg. Similar to the results of other Cialis studies, in people with diabetes, there were significant improvements in erections and successful intercourse attempts. For men with diabetes taking Cialis 10 mg, 57 percent had a satisfactory erection that allowed vaginal penetration and 48 percent had an erection that lasted long enough for successful intercourse. In those taking Cialis 20 mg, 54 percent had a satisfactory erection that allowed vaginal penetration and 42 percent had an erection that lasted long enough for successful intercourse.
Specific Effects of Tadalafil (Cialis)
Sunday, June 21st, 2009To gain knowledge about the effects of Cialis, researchers asked men a series of questions about the ability to achieve erections and the ability to maintain an erection after penetration during each attempt at sexual intercourse. These men were also asked questions about orgasms, desire, satisfaction with intercourse, and overall sexual satisfaction. Improvements in erections were somewhat based on the Cialis dosage. Men reported an improvement in erection enough to allow vaginal penetration up to 57 percent of the time with Cialis 5 mg, up to 77 percent of the time with Cialis 10 mg, and up to 85 percent of the time with Cialis 20 mg. In 33 to 75 percent of all cases (depending on the study), erections lasted long enough for successful intercourse.
